SI 9100GW VPG Internal Battery Replacement
If your meter is showing an Error 3, replacing these batteries may be the only issue
There are 2 specialty coin cell batteries with welded tabs that are soldered onto the circuit boards, these batteries run the internal memory on the circuit boards. Once they age and the voltage drops you may have a persistent Error 3 displayed on your scale meters.
This repair removes the old batteries and solders on the new batteries to the boards which typically resolves the issue.
If we attempt the repair and find there are other issues with your 9100 GW meter we would only charge the cost of the replacement batteries $40 if your meter is not able to be restored to working order.
